犹大Judas,  a seasoned t hief, finds hi mself in  the market squa re where Christ is giv ing a s ermon and his apostles a re colle cting a lms. He fo llows them and steals t heir mone y, onl y to be caugh t red-h anded. Neverthe less, t he Teacher f orgives him.  What is more,  He invites t he thief to become one of His fol lowers  and offer s him a posit ion as the gro up’s tr easurer. Shocked by Christ’s u nexpected o ffer, Juda s decid es to join the apostles,  if only to  figure out what is goi ng on. H e gradually  starts to co mprehen d Christ’s  message , but feels  that the apos tles are bl indly follo wing their te acher. Jud as argues  with them, and tries  to defend his  right to divin e the t ruth of God. Bu t when he fails to mak e them unde rstand, he rea lizes that Chri st’s teachi ngs may  sink into o blivion  without benefiting hu manity.
